Everyone that works with plum is a partner. With a combined 35 years of recruiting experience we’ve hired for virtually every role within an organization. Though we can fill any job, our specialty is demand and product creation. From brand and product management to design (brand, graphic, product) and sales – we have an extensive network in outdoor, sport and lifestyle. The process

• Meeting to discuss role responsibilities, understand company culture, the hiring team, key stakeholders, and much more
• Develop recruiting strategy: research competitive landscape, develop target list, contact top talent in the market
• Active outbound recruiting
• Weekly status update to review progress, candidates in the pipeline, etc.
• Shortlist candidate summary and resume brief
• Schedule phone interviews with hiring manager and top talent prospects
• Results / feedback loop
• Coordinate on-site face-to-face interview, brief all stakeholders
• Conduct reference checking & provide summary report
• Offer consultation, delivery and negotiation
• 3 & 6 month follow up

Retained search

When you hire plum, you can rest assured that your hiring process will flow effortlessly and with your complete satisfaction. In our retained model, you pay 1/3 down at the start – then, the next third after a comprehensive meeting to discuss status at 45 days. If you aren’t completely satisfied at that point, you don’t pay until you are. No more paying for a recruiter when the work is not done – no more paying for something you don’t get. Sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it?

Contingent search

Yes, we work on a contingent basis too! We know that sometimes companies are a little wary of going the “retained route.” So, we’re flexible. We do, however, have a few caveats to taking a contingent search on. Drop us a note – and we’ll send you the plum “We’ll Take Your Contingent Search and ROCK it – If You Commit to These Few Things” List. Then, if you’re in, we’re in. All in. And excited to represent your brand.

Research

We conduct targeted research based on your specifications. We’ll deliver a list of candidates that we think will fit your requirements – with their contact information. But, once again, plum delivers a higher quality than most search firms. We don’t just give out contact information for these people without their knowledge. That would be uncool. Instead, we verify interest on the part of the candidate – and open the door to a warm phone call from you. No more awkward cold calling for you! Leave that to us.

Our search guarantee

plum will replace your new hire if they quit or are terminated within the first 6 months. Yes, you read it right, 6 months, 180 days, a half year! Today’s industry standard for recruiting is 90 days. Heck, sometimes you can’t even get a new hire’s phone set up in 90 days. We’re in this for the long haul – just like you are.
